Elektro-Isola's production of cylindrical tubes covers a broad product range. The three product categories of Etronit, Etronax and G - Etronax - defined by the reinforcement materials paper, cotton fabric and glass fabric - are characterised by very specific material properties. The different varieties within each product category are manufactured for the purpose of obtaining individual combinations of electrical, mechanical, thermal and chemical properties.

Tubes are supplied ranging from a 3 mm internal diameter to an 1270 mm external diameter, with a wall thickness as desired and in lengths of up to 1650 mm. The standard versions are supplied with the tubes polished and unvarnished.

In general, the tubes are 'characterised' by good insulating properties, low weight and great strength. Machining can be carried out quickly and efficiently, and is thus financially advantageous.
