Exclusively for mechanical applications. Shockproof and noise-reducing material. Suitable as construction material where high loads and strong wear occur. Good dry-running properties. Can be lubricated with water, oil or grease. Alternative to materials containing asbestos.

IEC 60893:
NEMA LI 1:-
DIN 7735:-
The fabric is cotton in one direction and polyester in the other: the cotton provides strength and good mechanical properties, while the polyester adds wear and slip properties beyond what cotton alone offers, with a mild self-lubricating effect. Used for bearing materials, both large and small bearing bushings.
Plain MF/MMF's cotton weave is already wear-resistant and low-friction in its own right. Etronax MFP G replaces some of the weave with polyester threads, which sharpens those properties. The real reason to choose MFP G over plain MF variations is the application rather than a big performance jump: it is used for ball bearing cages and bearing bushings, where a mildly self-lubricating surface is needed rather than a purely dry-running one.
Suitable for components where frictional and rolling resistance may occur.
Suitable for applications where the materials are exposed to mechanical impact.
Resistant material with long service life.
The compact structure of the material optimises its mechanical and electrotechnical properties.
