NEMA LI 1:XX
DIN 7735:Hp 2061.6
Conforms to the norm PF CP 203 and posess a temperature index of 120°C and CTI 100. This paperbased composite material is widely used for general mechanical and electrical construction applications at normal humidity. It offers better electrical performance than most other Etronit variants.
The main difference between Etronit II and Etronit IIQ is mechanical versus electrical performance. IIQ is mechanically the stronger of the two, with a bending strength of 170 MPa against Etronit II's 160 MPa, and its datasheet describes it as the mechanically best grade in the Etronit range. That strength comes at a cost on the electrical side: IIQ's electrical strength is 5 kV/mm (perpendicular, in oil at 90°C), well below Etronit II's 10 kV/mm, and its water absorption is nearly double (200 mg against II's 110 mg)
Suitable for electrical insulation and other electrical applications.
Suitable for applications where the materials are exposed to mechanical impact.
The compact structure of the material optimises its mechanical and electrotechnical properties.
The easy-to-machine material makes for unlimited possibilities.
