To produce some of the world's best composite materials, energy is required. Due to rapidly increasing energy costs, we are forced to introduce an energy surcharge on all invoices effective from 1st of April 2026.
Increasing energy costs impact Elektro-Isola in several ways:
Energy consumption in production processes – gas and electricity
Transportation of incoming goods – diesel and jet fuel
Cost increases are already affecting us at a significant level, and we see no alternative but to introduce a variable surcharge.
The surcharge is based on the development of the cost drivers mentioned above and will be updated monthly.
The energy surcharge for May is set at 4%.
The rising energy costs also lead to increasing raw material prices which will be factored into our sales prices from 1st of May 2026.
