NEMA LI 1:-
DIN 7735:-
Conforms to EP PC 301. P EP is the variant in the Etronax series with the best-performing electrical properties, unlike the rest of the range, which is chosen for its mechanical performance. The combination of polyester fabric and epoxy resin gives low friction and high wear resistance. It is used mainly in the electrotechnical industry, in equipment involving SF6 gas (such as high-voltage circuit breakers).
Etronax P EP is comparable to multiple glass-based epoxy materials. The difference that matters is chemical rather than mechanical. When an arc forms in SF6 gas, such as inside a circuit breaker, it can produce hydrofluoric acid, which dissolves glass and destroys glass-reinforced G-Etronax. P EP's polyester reinforcement is not attacked by hydrofluoric acid, which is why it is used instead of G-Etronax in this specific application.
Suitable for components where frictional and rolling resistance may occur.
Resistant material with long service life.
The compact structure of the material optimises its mechanical and electrotechnical properties.
Suitable for electrical insulation and other electrical applications.
