G-Etronax EP 11 - Sheet

Used in various applications such as large rotating electrical machines and insulation cylinders in transformers.

EP 11 vs. EP 215 S

EP 11 and EP 215 S are near-identical materials on paper. As sheets, both are glass-fabric epoxy to the same standards (EP GC 308 / NEMA G-11), both are thermal class H with a temperature index of 180°C, and their electrical figures are the same. EP 11 has a slightly higher bending strength and impact strength. The real difference shows up in use. EP 215 S performs better under varying loads, with a long service life under the most demanding conditions, which is why it is preferred for rotary vanes and similar application areas.

Also available as G11 tubes.
