It takes energy to produce composite materials that are among the best in the world. We work diligently to optimise our processes and plant, but regardless of the effectiveness of our results, energy is required to produce and process composite into our customers’ finished components.
Energy is a resource that has affected the market with large fluctuations in the recent years. Therefore, our products are subject to an energy surcharge that follows our energy costs. The energy surcharge covers the energy costs that are not included in our prices.
The energy surcharge is calculated based on an average of spot prices for natural gas and electricity based on the last three months.
Our current energy surcharge is 1% for the period from 1 April 2024 until 30 April 2024.
The energy surcharge applies to orders invoiced in the specified period, and the current energy surcharge will always be indicated in your invoice.
